Fee Policy

Making Payments

Clients must provide a payment card for us to keep on file. This includes credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards. We will charge the default payment card at the end of the day when a session occurs.

We also accept other payment types:

  • PayPal for credit cards, HSA cards, and bank transfers
  • Venmo
  • Check

To update your payment method or use an alternative, call us at 336-496-2838 or visit our portal.

Deductibles & Copays

Clients using in-network insurance will pay the amount determined by their insurance company. If you aren’t sure how much you would owe, please ask us for an estimate. The final determination of the out of pocket cost will come from your insurer.

Late Cancel & No-Show Fees

If you need to cancel an appointment, call us at 336-496-2838, use our portal, email info@jspencecounseling.com, or email your therapist directly.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice or where the client does not appear (no-show) each incur a a $75 fee.

Hardship Assistance

We understand that life is full of struggles, some of which will make it difficult or impossible to continue paying for counseling. If you’re an existing client who has lost your job, lost your insurance, or are otherwise unsure of your ability to continue paying for therapy, call the office or tell your therapist. We can work something out.
